Forte, Alice Jean (Bariga)
Saturday,January 20, 2007, at age 51, after a long battle with colon cancer. Predeceased by her parents, Carl and Hilda Bariga; and sister, Karen. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Peter; children, Renee Forte, Dalton (Shannon), Peter Jr. (Theresa), Phillip (Carol), Patrick (Jen) and Joseph (Krissy) Forte; stepdaughter, Teresa (John) Apsey; sisters, Wanda Bariga, Lorraine (Kevin) Ingham, Irene Bariga; and brother Michael Bariga. Alice was a proud grandmother of 18 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call Monday, 3-7 at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where her Funeral Service will follow at 7 PM. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Unity Health Foundation (Cancer Unit), 1555 Long Pond Rd., Rochester, NY 14626 in her memory.
