Bergen: Passed unexpectedly on Monday January 27, 2014 at age 68. He was predeceased by his parents, Lyal and Erma (Van de Walker). He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 18 years, Linda (Gruschow); sons, Jeff (Cindy), Brian (Kelley); along with brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Allen was a graduate of Sidney Central High School and received his MBA from Pepperdine University. He was a retired engineer from Johnson & Johnson, a volunteer at Unity Hospital. His hobbies included golf and he volunteered at the LPGA and the PGA.

The family will receive friends Wednesday February 5th from 4-6 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue where a Memorial Service will immediately follow calling at 6 PM. Private interment.
