Passed away on, July 5, 2025 at the age of 83.
Predeceased by her parents, Modesto and Ana Rosado Ortiz; daughter, Erica Ann Ortiz; and her sisters, Aida Luz Ortiz and Margarita Ortiz Matos.
She is survived by her son, Samuel (Nidia) Ortiz; grandchild, Yamilez Ortiz; sisters, Luisa Cuevas (Miguel) Hernandez and Ruth (David) Ortiz Malave; nephews, Angel Luis (Jeanette) Garcia Sr., Edwin John Frank, Demetrius (Iris) Buttelman; Herman (Unice Marquez) Matos, Daniel (Sonoli Santiago) Matos, David John (Regina) Malave; and Adam V. (Jenna) Malave; nieces, Nellie (Mark) Wegner, Lillian (Robert) Furlong, Evelyn (Bruce Belknap) Castello, Carmen Hernandez, Pillar Hernandez, and Gretchen Hernandez; and many great nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 10 from 4PM to 7PM, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 11 at 10am, at Riverside Cemetery, 2650 Lake Ave.
