Andrew A. Harvey

Andrew Harvey, age 39, unexpectedly passed on June 28, 2026, at Unity Hospital in Rochester, NY. Born on June 24, 1987, Andrew brought laughter, kindness, and unwavering loyalty to the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him. Though his life was far too short, and he had many half-planned adventures yet to come, the impact he made on his family, friends, and colleagues will never be forgotten.

A graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, Andrew was a dedicated employee at ComTec Solutions, a computer security service, and he loved anything to do with technology and computers right until the end.

Above all else, “Harvey” treasured the people he loved. He had many close friends in Rochester and around the world, and cherished the relationship that he had with his girlfriend, Christina Parker.

Andrew is survived by his parents, Judith Harvey and Dr. Alan Harvey (Dr. Doris Cope), siblings Dr. Katherine Harvey (Andrew Konopacki) and Kristin Harvey (Denise Krawczyk), aunts, uncles, cousins, and three nieces and a nephew whom he adored.

A celebration of life is planned for a later date. In place of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Dr. Alex Harvey Neuroscience Research Fund at Georgetown University to continue the lifesaving work started by his late cousin.
