He is predeceased by his parents, Fred and Isabella; his brothers, Samuel (Elizabeth), John (Frances) and brother-in-law, Teddy.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ellen; children, Donald (Lisa) Shields and Sarah-Ann Lowrey; grandchildren, Samuel, Andrew, Samantha, Faith and Heather; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Collin and Nadiya; sister, Nellie Shields; several nieces and nephews.
His Memorial Service will be held Sunday, May 24th at 1 PM at the
Gates Presbyterian Church, 1049 Wegman Road.
