Passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2026 at the age of 14.
Predeceased by his grandmother, Rosemary Roberto.
He is survived by his parents, Denise Torres & Randy Torres; siblings, Melinna, Suhailey, Randy Jr., Stella, Roselie & sibling to come; grandparents, Victor (Jazmin Colon) Fernandez, Solmaria Pagan & Epifanio Torres; aunts & uncles, Victor E. Fernandez, Cynthia Cordero, William Latorres, Angel Roberto, Cameron Roberto, Ricardo Roberto, Nicholas Sheppard, Nicole Sheppard, Destiny Colon, Stephanie Bradley, Timothy Colon, Joshua Colon, Crystal Torres, Jenise Cruz & Samantha Torres; and many cousins & friends.
He was happiest outdoors, where every neighborhood and backyard became an adventure waiting to happen. Whether he was riding his bike with the wind at his back, dirtying his hands building anything he could get his hands on, or simply enjoying the fresh air, he found joy in the simple things that many of us overlook. His favorite color was orange, a bright, bold reflection of the light and energy he brought into the lives of everyone who knew him.
Andrew had an incredible gift for fixing things. If something was broken, he would patiently take it apart, determined to figure out how it worked and bring it back to life. To him, trash wasn’t trash-it was treasure waiting to be transformed into something useful. He saw the value in the things that others found invaluable and always saw the potential of what could come of those things. His creativity, determination, and hands-on talent amazed everyone around him.
More than anything, he cared deeply for others. He was always thinking of how he could help, lend a hand, or make someone smile. You could tell Andrew something just one time and he would remember it until the next time he saw you.
His generous, selfless & thoughtful heart, playful personality, and contagious laughter is how he made friends wherever he went. He simply had a way of making people feel welcome, valued, loved & accepted.
Although his time here was far too short, the impact he made on everyone will last forever. He taught us to value life, love hard, be generous, appreciate the outdoors, work hard, laugh often, and love without hesitation.
He leaves behind a family and countless friends who will forever cherish the memories of bike rides, adventures, laughter, and the countless moments that made him so special. While our hearts ache beyond words, we find comfort in knowing his bright spirit will continue to live on in every sunset, every winding trail, every repaired treasure, and every act of kindness shared in his memory.
Andrew's bright smile & deep dimples will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
