Anita Byrne

Passed away on October 21, 2025 at the age of 93.

Predeceased by her husband, Donald Byrne Sr.; parents, Ernest & Gwendoline Hummel.

She is survived by her children, Patricia (Gene) Edwards, Donald (Anita) Byrne Jr.; Thomas Byrne, Mary Beth (Daniel) Cody, & Janet (Barry) Byrne-Safier; grandchildren, Marc (Becky) Edwards, Christina Cosola, Meghan (Dave) Rezac, Timothy Cody, Courtney (Ritwik) Nandagiri, Thomas (Amanda) Byrne Jr., Gwenanne Edwards, Amy (Eric) Smith, Nicholas Byrne, Joshua Safier & Emily Safier; great-grandchildren, Nicholas & Sophie LaBorde, Marlow & Norah Rezac, Trent, Colt, Joanna & Hudson Smith, Edison Edwards, Hattie Cody, Eleanor Byrne, Naveen & Aneeta Nandagiri; & many more extended family members.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all.

Interment will be held at the discretion of the family at St. Mary's Cemetery, 10880 Bennett Rd, Dunkirk, NY 14048.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow after the mass at Holy Trinity Church, 1460 Ridge Road, Webster, NY, 14580.
