Anita L. Ascenzo
Greece: Passed away on February 1st 2016 at the age of 75. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Paul Ascenzo; daughter, Christine (Charles) Martella; son, Joseph (Lisa) Ascenzo; grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexandria, Noah Martella and Joely Ascenzo; sister, Judy (Howard) Accurso; many nieces, nephews and friends.
A gifted musician, Anita played piano and accordion and was a hairstylist for over 40 years. She will be remembered for her warmth, humor, devotion to family and her love of animals and music.
The family extends their gratitude to the caring staff of Unity Hospital at Park Ridge.
Calling Hours will be held from 5:30 - 8:30 PM on Thursday, February 4th at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue where a Funeral Ceremony will be celebrated on Friday February 5th at 11 AM.
