Greece: Suddenly, July 22, 2011. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Pearl Maida and her sister-in-law, Wendy Stell. She is survived by her loving husband, David; sisters, Patricia Gelsomino, Carol Randazzo, Linda Koetsier, and JoAnne Maida; mother-in-law, Patricia (Gil) Merzke; father-in-law, Gerald (Helen) Stell; and her sister-in-law, Debbie (Jim) Arney of Colorado, and her best friend and "pen pal" for 46 years, Bernice Campbell of Seattle, WA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and especially her 2 beloved pets, Ginger and Bailey. Anita was actively involved with the Greece Senior Community Center and enjoyed playing poker every Monday with her many friends there. She was also an avid writer of poems and wrote one for every occasion. She will be sadly missed by all.
No prior calling Hours. There will be a Memorial Service for Anita on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at NewComer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., at 11:30 A.M.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd. Fairport NY 14450.
