Gates: Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at the age of 97. Predeceased by her husband, Paul J. Valvano. Survived by her son, Paul (Patricia), sister, Helen Hart; grandson, Kenneth; great-granddaughter, Eleni; sisters-in-law, Zosh Stacy and Laura Valvano; her primary care-giver and devoted niece, Sharon Donahue; close personal friend, Alba Vargas; and many other nieces, nephews and friends.
There will be no calling hours and a private Interment. Donations may be sent to Lifespan, 1900 S. Clinton Ave., Rochester, NY 14618 in Anna's memory. Those wishing to share a message or condolence please visit
