Sunrise for Annabelle Lee Madison Belle was March 13, 1932, born to Charlie Madison, World War I Veteran, of Orange County and Mary Walker Madison of Albermarle County, Virginia. Annabelle was the 7th child of nine children. Annabelle attended Primary school and most of high school in Gordonsville, Virginia. She left to live with her two oldest brothers in Baltimore, Maryland. Before leaving Gordonsville, she worked as a head cook, a seamstress, a secretary and for the families (owned tobacco Farms).

She returned to Gordonsville, Virginia and was united in Holy Matrimony with the Love of her life, Morris Halles Belle Sr., September 5th, 1953, and started a family in Utica, New York. They relocated there because his two sisters; Mrs. Olga Mae Winston, Mrs. Othia Lee Mcknight and his cousin Ruby V. Dorsey spoke of the good jobs in New York State. She remained married together for 36 years until Morris transitioned in 1989.

Annabelle received a Nursing Degree through the Chicago, Illinois Nursing School Home Study Program. She worked at various health facilities, and she also did home care and private nursing for seniors and children with disabilities. She worked for General Electric making radios until the company relocated to Florida. She was a foster care mother for 16 years and took care of state patients in her home for 10 years. Annabelle loved gardening, cooking, sewing, and helping single mothers and children in the neighborhood. She was a loving and devoted mother to three children, grandmother to three, great grandmother to five and a great, great grandmother to one. She thought the world of them all.

Annabelle was an active member with New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Arthur M. Kennedy. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Utica, New York. After the death of her husband, she became a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She was a Sunday School Teacher.

Annabelle was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Halles Belle Sr., Korean War Veteran and her son Morris Halles Belle Jr. special 0peration during Desert shield storm Era, her parents and all of her eight siblings. She leaves to cherish her everlasting memory her daughters; Sharon Dennise Belle-Render, Petrice Regina (Julius) Gonzales, Her grandchildren Regina (Apollo ) Organ, Julius Morris (Jasmine), Morris H. Belle III, great grandchildren Anita Denise, Julius (Ju-Ju), Julian, Legend and King Gonzales and a great, great grandchild Tru Ariana Burton; a special cousin, Supt. Percy E. Hughes (COGIC), cousins, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
