Churchville: Called to the Lord and Savior Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at the age of 95. Born April 30, 1916 in Rochester to Kathryn and James Duchyns. She was predeceased by her husband, Steve Kissel; grandsons, Kevin Kissel and George Bogard; brothers, Anthony, Michale and Joseph; sister, Mary. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Raymond) Barber, Kathleen (Fred) Bogard; sons, William (Lynn) Kissel, Steve (Bonnie) Kissel; 7 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 step-great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
Anne had a love of singing and was a member of the St. Josaphat's Catholic Church Choir. She was an avid gardener of flowers and vegetables and enjoyed sharing the fruits of her labor with family and friends. Anne was the nucleus of the family and was much loved by all. Her family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Wesley Gardens Nursing Home for the wonderful care she received during her stay.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, October 6th from 4-8 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Anne's Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10 AM at St. Josaphat's Catholic Church, 940 East Ridge Road. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Rochester Lifetime Care, 3111 Winton Road South, Rochester, NY 14623.
