Anne M. Saless

Anne Marilyn Saless, aged 64, passed away peacefully in the early hours of December 27, 2025 in Webster, NY. She was surrounded by loved ones and her dog, Shep, at the family home.

Anne was born on February 25, 1961 in Rochester NY. She attended Northern Michigan University where she studied Allied Health. Following her graduation, Anne worked in Alpena, MI. She subsequently moved to Grand Rapids, MI and finally to Rochester, NY. Anne retired after working for 25 years at the University of Rochester. She enjoyed working with others and making her patients feel cared for and welcome.

Anne enjoyed hiking, skiing, and biking, among other outdoor activities. She loved spending time in nature and was quick to identify a bird call or name a local plant. Anne also enjoyed arts and crafts, with glass making being among her favorites. She cared a great deal for the environment and animals. Over her lifetime, Anne adopted dogs, cats, and Guinea pigs from local shelters and rescues.

Anne is survived by her father, John “Jack” Talbot; her husband, Michael Saless; and her children, Rachel and Christopher Saless. She is predeceased by her mother, Irene S. Talbot, and her brother, John E. Talbot. Anne was a cherished member of the family and will be dearly missed.
