Annie “Miz Moe” Moore, born on October 12, 1952, in Coffee County, Douglas, Georgia, was the fifth of twelve children to Lola Mae Goolsby and Willie Goolsby. Raised in a large and close-knit family, she learned early on the values of love, responsibility, and caring for others.

During her youth, Annie “Miz Moe” relocated to Rochester, New York, with several of her siblings. Eventually, the rest of her brothers, sisters, and parents joined them, creating a new family home rooted in togetherness and support. She attended Madison High School, where she continued to grow into the strong and compassionate woman everyone adored.

At the tender age of 16, Annie “Miz Moe” met the love of her life, Eric “Mitty” Moore. A year later, at just 17, she married him, embarking on a beautiful union that lasted 56 blessed years. Together, they built a family filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion, later welcoming children who became the center of her world.

Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to make history in Rochester by opening the city’s first plus-sized consignment boutique, Miz Moe’s On the Plus Side. This space provided a haven for full-figured women to find fashionable and beautiful clothing that made them feel seen and celebrated.

Beyond her work, Annie also owned Arms With Love Daycare for over 15 years. She dedicated her time to providing love, structure, and guidance to children throughout the community.

Annie’s passion for music was evident in her life. Her love for music, rhythm, and entertainment became an integral part of her work. She managed her husband’s band, Mitty and The Followers, handling bookings, and supporting their growth in every way she could.

As a vibrant businesswoman with a creative spirit, Annie showcased her talents at festivals and events across the country. She became a vendor at various festivals, proudly sharing her eye for style and artistic vision with the world.
