Rochester: Passed on Saturday, June 30th, 2012, at age 97. She is predeceased by her husband, Filippo Elia; daughter, Anna Gaglianese; son, Armando Elia; brother, Giovanni Rossi; son-in-law, Luigi Cangiano. Survived by sons, Joseph (Luigia), Lonino (Marie), Nicola (Marie) Elia; daughters, Maria (Luigi) Giorgione, Ada Cangiano, Assunta (Vincenzo) Valleri; 22 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; her brother, Arturo Rossi of Italy; son-in-law, Francesco Gaglianese; several nieces, nephews & many special friends.
Calling hours will be held TODAY, Monday from 5-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 AM at St. Theodore's Church, 168 Spencerport Rd. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
