DiStefano, Anthony "Tony"

Rochester: July 21, 2014 at age 96. He is predeceased by his wife, Yvonne DiStefano; brothers, Joseph and Arthur DiStefano; and sister, Josephine Ricotta. He is survived by his son, Anthony James DiStefano; daughters Linda DiStefano and Laura DiStefano (Robert Secor); grandchildren, Danielle (Chris) Kwan and Derek Gerstner; great-grandson, Mason Kwan and soon to be born great-grandson, Anthony Kwan; sisters, Grace (Stanley) Ronnenberg and Rosemary DiStefano; brothers, Carm DiStefano and Richard (Tanya) DiStefano; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Kurt & Nancy Jones. Tony was loved and will be missed by many people for his loving, caring and joking personality.

Anthony was a WWII Army Air Corp Veteran. He sold cars at Frear Chevrolet for many years. Upon his retirement he began a new career at Oak Hill Country Club working at the West Course Snack Bar. He retired after 10 years.

Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Penfield Place Nursing Home.

Friends and family may call Friday, July 25th, 4-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 10:30 am at New Comer Funeral Home. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Honor Flight PO Box 23581 Rochester, NY 14692.
