Anthony Christopher Faison I
Affectionately known as 'Pete', was born to the union of Rosa Lee and Coleman 'Candy' Faison Sr. He started this journey of life on October 5, 1940 in Sanford, Fl. He was the oldest of eight children.
He attended Seminole County Schools until he later moved to Rochester, NY where he completed his education in the Rochester City School District. Pete worked many years for the Labors Union. He was later employed by Eastman Kodak, eventually retiring.
Throughout his life, Pete was known to be a fun-loving and adventurous man; often fulfilling his passion for singing with his group The New Yorkers, traveling, gambling, bowling and photography. It was his great charm, handsome looks and wit that led to his infectious personality that caused people to laugh and smile when he was around. He was known to STRETCH the TRUTH to get his point across a time or two! He was either "going to work", "just getting off from work", or "on his way to an appointment", lol
Pete leaves his wife Ornetta, three adult children Angela, Antoinette and Anthony Christopher II (Tyrice) and Pete and Ornetta's adopted son, Maurice Christopher.
Also left to cherish his memory is his mother, Rosa L. Faison and siblings: Coleman Faison II, Duane Faison, Bernard Faison, Sandra Faison, Roslyn Aaron (Wiley) and Kim Faison. He was pre-deceased by his father Coleman Faison Sr. and his late sister Alice Anne Faison.
In addition, his grandchildren: Brianna Faison, Alexis Ortiz, Skylar Faison, Morgan Faison, Jadon Faison, Alyssa Faison, Christian J. Faison-Albright and great-granddaughter Brenleigh Faison.
