Anthony "Tony" Caruso
Rochester: Passed away peacefully September 1, 2015 at age 77 surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer.
Tony is predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Mary (Pacchiarotta) Caruso; sisters, Connie (Hugh) Pryor, Fannie (Frank) Bianchi, Antoinette (Chris) Ippolito, Jean (Anthony) D'Angelo, Josephine Caruso and Rose Marie Caruso; brother, Joe (Teresa) Caruso.
Tony is survived by close friends, Carl (Cindy) Schirtz of 45 years and Mike Race of 30 years; many nieces & nephews, Mary Francis (Dave) Parker, Consuella Lugo, Thadeous (Temple) Pryor, Anthony (Claudia) Pryor, Henrietta Galdo, Tony (Diane) Bianchi, Nick (Marylou) Bianchi, Chris Ippolito (Sarah Bentivegna), Teg (Cathy) Ippolito, John Ippolito, Maryanne (Tony) Tiberio, Luis D'Angelo, Gerald D'Angelo, JoJo (John) Frillice, MaryJo Caruso, Rick Gifaldi; many great-nieces and nephews; many close friends from Bingo.
Tony was born January 21, 1938 in Rochester. He spent his years working for the library, Kodak and later retired from IBM in 2003. Tony loved going to Bingo and spending time with all his special Bingo friends. He also enjoyed trips to the casino and OTB with friends. Tony recently took a trip to Vegas and had a great time with family and friends.
Tony spent the last few weeks surrounded by his loving nieces, nephews and friends. You are very loved and will be greatly missed by all.

Calling hours will be held 2-3 PM Saturday, September 5, 2015 followed by a Service at 3 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, New York 14626.
