Anthony J. Rodrigues
Rochester: Sunday June 21, 2015 at age 88. Tony passed peacefully with his family by his side. He is predeceased by his wife, Dora; mother and father, Manuel and Virginia Rodrigues; brothers and sisters, Lenora, Christine, Mary, Manuel, John, Virginia, and Georgia.
He is survived by his children, Gerald (Mary) Rodrigues, Paul (Leisa) Rodrigues, Carol (Bob) Otto and step-daughter, Gail (Alan) Klee; grandchildren, Karyn (Thayer) Thompson, Andrew Rodrigues (Aimee Surtenich), John (Stacie) Guyer, Mychele (Dena) Sievers, Brian (Jessica) Kennedy, Kristen (Steven) Wexler; great-grandchildren, Estifanos, Carissa, Tyler, Luke, and Jason. Also survived by the mother of his children, Adele Rodrigues, brothers-in-law, Steve Chodak, Ralph Grace, and John D'Amico; many nieces and nephews.
Tony was an active sportsman enjoying many years of bowling, golf, softball and hunting and spent a lifetime dedicated to helping others when in need, both friends and family.
Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 AM Thursday at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Ave. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Valley Manor Assisted Living, 1570 East Ave., Rochester, NY 14610, where he spent seven years under the loving care of the Valley Manor staff.
