Antoinette Ceraci

Gates: Passed away on, August 7, 2016 at the age of 69.

Predeceased by her parents, Michael and Lena Caldarelli; brothers, Frank and Joseph.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Ceraci; daughters, Nancy (Patrick) Russell, Lisa (Carl) Martel, Tanya (John) Gmitter, & son, Frank M. (Kelly) Ceraci; grandchildren, Kyle, Matthew, & Ryan Russell, Brendon & Alexa Martel, Nicholas, Maria, & Joseph Gmitter, Tristan & Kahlan Ceraci; brothers; Sam (Frieda), Lee (Greg Fox), Michael (Edna), & John Caldarelli; sisters- in- law, Diane and Betty; many nieces, nephews, & special friends; Stephanie George & Carmen Cruz.

Weekends are a time of reprieve and respite. And the same held true at the Ceraci house, but not for Nana. Friday nights often began with preparing fresh dough in a pot piled under comforters to let it rise. Then, on Saturday mornings, she would line her very seasoned sheet pans with a layer of fresh dough and smother it with her very own canned tomatoes and other ingredients. After a short bake in the oven, fresh greatness emerged. The best homemade pizza this side of the old country. There was always great pride in that pizza, and love.

She loved to cook and bake, but most importantly she loved more to share her creations with anyone and everyone. Her too large for the kitchen table was always filled with her love and many of our great memories and stories that she inspired were created around that table while enjoying the love served. Antoinette was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, and friend, and she will be missed on all accounts.

Her Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 13th at First Bible Baptist church located at 990 Manitou Road, Hilton NY, 14468 with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice in the memory of Antoinette N. Ceraci.
