Arline Burke

Rochester: Suddenly on October 30, 2013 at age 62.

Predeceased by her father, Robert Festing and sister, Jean.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas; children, Lyndsay (Jimmy) Fitzmaurice and Justin (Tiffany) Burke; grandchildren, Olivia and Ava Fitzmaurice and Jaedyn Burke; mother, Marilyn Festing; sister, Keri Samolis; close family friend, Grace Hargrave; several nieces and nephews.

Arline was a retired RCSD secretary and made many very close friends in her years with the district. She loved her family very much and was "Mom" to everyone even outside the immediate family.

She held a very special place in her heart for her grandchilden which she adored and spent as much time with as she could whether it was to babysit or shop for them.

She will be remembered for so many different reasons whether it was for her ability to transform a home or an object into something beautiful and warm, for her passion to garden, for her wild, crazy and beautiful jewelry, her funky shoes & purses, the list goes on, but most of all her ability to light up any room with her amazing smile.



Family will receive friends Saturday November 9th, 1-4 at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue.
