Assunta "Sue" Verdi
Greece: Passed peacefully on Friday, January 17th, 2014 at age 89, surrounded by her loving children. She is predeceased by her husband, Jerry; daughter, Theresa Morrill; grandson, David D'Amato; brothers, Rocco & Steve LiButti. Survived by her children, Michael (Gail) Verdi, Jenny (John) Arena, Emily (Sam) Testa, Lilly D'Amato (Wayne) Miles, Annette ( Roy) Giunta; son-in-law, Leo Morrill; 16 grandchildren, Kim, Joanna, Michele, Jennifer, Susan, Michael, Teresa, Anissa, Jonathan, Deanna, Samuel, Lisa, K.C., Kristen, Joey, Daniel; 24 great grandchildren; brother, Americo (Anna) LiButti; sister-in-law, Rose Verde; many nieces & nephews.
A special Thank You to the staff at Edna Tina Wilson Living Center for their loving care given to Sue.
Visitation Hours will be held on Monday, January 20th from 4-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Tuesday at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a favorite charity of your choice.
