White, Barbara A.
Rochester: April 29, 2013 at age 80 passed away peacefully. She grew up in Clyde, New York with 3 sisters. She moved to Rochester, NY where she married the late Donald W, White with whom she shared 53 years of marriage. They were blessed with a daughter and grandchildren. She enjoyed camping with her family and friends. She also enjoyed music activities including attending her grandchildren's performances. Barb was talented at making many different crafts and candy making. She loved making others laugh by telling jokes and was known as a very generous person.
Along with her husband, she is predeceased by her sister, Jean Abrams. She is survived by her caring daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Garland Solt of Brockport, New York; her grandson, Jason Johansen and granddaughter, Brittany Solt Rath and grandson-in-law Cody Rath; sisters and brother-in-laws Lucy (Clarence) Luke , Linda (Howard) Lord and Harold Abrams; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jean (John) Molner; many nieces and nephews.
Barbara was actively involved with the Sweden Senior Center in Brockport, St Johns Community Volunteer group and Needlepoint Circle, member of the Calvary Nazarene Church, teacher assistant of the West Ridge School in Greece and Henrietta Volunteer Ambulance.
To celebrate her life a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 11th, 4:00pm at Park Ridge Free Methodist Church, 10 Straub Rd., Rochester, NY. Private Interment. To share a memory please visit: www.NewcomerRochester.com .
