Passed peacefully, Friday May 23, 2025.

Predeceased by her loving husband, Paul G. Gropp. Brothers, James Hefner and Rob Hefner. Sister, Dorothy Dobra.

Survived by her beloved children, Jackie (Todd) McMichael, Paul D. Gropp, Debbie (Jason) Hall, Dan Gropp, & Ken (Julie) Gropp; cherished grandchildren, Corey, Cody (Alyssa Sowan), & Casey McMichael, Morgan Hall, Savannah, James, & Nicholas Gropp, Sienna & Jackson Gropp. Siblings, Brian, Steve, Ron, Stan Dobra. Rosanna Conrad, Linda Crawford, Kathy Eckerson. Sister-in-law, Dolores Hefner. In-laws, Jerry (Gail) Gropp, Betti (Rick) Daley, Donna (Bob) Gill, Bob (Darlene) Gropp, George (Janine) Gropp, & Jennifer (Sean) Dignan; step-mother-in-law, Cheryl Wersackas. Dear friends, Christy Valsente, Laurie Cole. Lifelong friend, Linda Harrington. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.

Barbara loved her family and had a passion for music. She will be sadly missed by everyone that knew her.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the Transitional Care Center staff at Unity Hospital for the care they provided Barb.

The family will receive friends for a Memorial Service, 11am Saturday June 7, 2025 at The Ogden Baptist Church, 721 Washington St, Spencerport, NY 14559. In lieu of flowers friends may make contributions to the Ogden Baptist Church or to Lollypop Farm, Humane Society of Greater Rochester, 99 Victor Rd. Fairport, NY 14450 in memory of Barb.
