Barbara Rose Guada

Barbara Rose Guada, a free spirit who painted the world with her vivacious personality and artistic talent, departed this life on December 15, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on October 1, 1940, Barbara’s journey through life was marked by her unique charm, creative flair, and heartfelt connection to those around her.

A resident of St. Petersburg, Florida, Barbara was cherished by many friends who have fondly remembered her as an honorable person, embodying the very essence of kindness and understanding. Her vibrant spirit and infectious laughter were a light in the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. Whether she was modeling, creating art, or expressing herself through poetry, Barbara lived with a passion that inspired all who crossed her path.

Barbara had an undeniable love for life, delighting in simple pleasures like sipping her favorite Starbucks coffee and spending time surrounded by friends. She embraced her identity as a hippy and carried a sense of adventure in her heart that touched all who were drawn to her magnetic personality. She was truly one of a kind, a rare gem whose uniqueness will be deeply missed.

Barbara Rose Guada's light still shines in the hearts of many, reminding us all to live fully, embrace our creativity, and cherish every moment. She will forever be remembered as a free spirit whose indelible mark on the world will remain long after her departure.

Predeceased by her parents, Louis & Dorothy Guada; son, William Robert Segelin.

She is survived by her children, Susan (James Paolotto) Segelin, Patricia, & Jason (Stacey) Fisher; many grandchildren, including special grandchildren, Kerra (Olajuwon) & Andrew, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, & cousins; brothers, Lou (Marilyn) Guada & Joe Guada; sister, Judith (Ed) Merkel.
