Gates: Passed peacefully surrounded by loving family Monday, December 24, 2012 at age 81. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, William; sons, David (Lin), Tim (Lorrie) and Gary (Donna) Hancock; grandchildren, Shawn, Brandy, Ken, Will, Danielle, Ashley, Matt and Jessica; great-grandchildren, Malia, Leona, Dakota, Trinity and Riley; sister-in-law, Phyllis Willoughby; nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Barbara was a member of the Gates-Chili Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Family and friends may attend calling hours Thursday, 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where a funeral service will be held Friday at 10 AM. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
