Bernard "Bernie" "Bloomer" Dow
Rochester: Passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June, 18th 2014. He was predeceased by his parents, Donald & Helen Dow; step-mother, Geraldine Dow; sister, Mary Ann Matthews, step-brother, Rodney Cooper. Survived by children, Natalie Dow, Nicole (Brian) Diehl, Jimmy Paulino; 2 grandchildren; siblings, David (Diane) Dow, Barbara Jo (Milton) Sabol, Jeanne Crawford, Donald (Sheryl) Dow, Robert (Edye) Dow, Dale Cooper, Howard Cooper, Wanda Cooper, Mark (Dee) Cooper, Matthew (Mary) Cooper; many nieces, nephews, and loving friend, Kitty Callaghan.
Bernie was a decorated Vietnam Army Veteran, avid golf fan, and long time employee of Flint Ink.
Family and friends may call on Monday, June 23rd from 4-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Tuesday June, 24th at St. Josephs Church, 43 Gebhardt Rd., Penfield, NY.
