A time to be Born… Bernard was the oldest child born to the late Frank and Ethel Stanford Glover on July 25, 1950, in Rochester, NY.
A time to Learn …
Bernard joined Antioch Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and later became a member at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
He was educated in the Rochester City School District, graduating from Franklin High School in 1968. Later he earned an associate’s degree in data computing in NYC.
A time to Live… Bernard held numerous positions working in computing systems at Xerox and the University of Rochester. Bernard retired from the Rochester City School District in 2018 after working at Franklin High School for more than 10 years.
He was an avid reader and a fierce competitor. If ever you were playing a game with him, he would pursue every opportunity to win.
A time to say Goodbye…. God has called him home into his loving grace on Saturday, December 13, 2025
A Time to Mourn… Everlasting memories of him will be cherished by his son Donnell Breedlove (Jackie), grandchildren, Donnell Breedlove, Jesse Breedlove, and Naimah Breedlove, brother, Donald (Wilhelmina) Glover, sister, Diane Techeney Cortes, nieces Cynthia Glover Brown, Ebony (Amar) Reynolds, Stephanie Techeney, nephew, Calvin Powell and a host of relatives and friends.
