Bernard C. Sweeney

Bernard C. Sweeney, age 91, passed away on August 16, 2024. 

He is deeply mourned by his family, including his son Jim Sweeney (Fran), daughter Susan Reeners (Bruce Almekinder), & his cherished grandchildren, Jason, Patrick (Kelly), & Meaghan Sweeney, Ashley O'Mara (Ryan), and Jon Reeners. He also leaves behind great-grandchildren Gavin Sweeney, Brody Sweeney, and Carter O'Mara, along with his lifelong friend, Jim Galloway.

Bernard’s contributions to his community were numerous. He served as the past president of the Jay Cee's and was an active member of the Greece, NY Republican Party. His dedication to his country was evident through his service as a US Navy Veteran. Bernard was also a passionate supporter of Rochester sports teams, reflecting his love for his local community.

Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
