Rochester: Passed peacefully with her family by her side July 2, 2011 at age 84. Predeceased by her parents, Joseph & Anna Meyer; sister, Verna Meyer; son, James A. Corcoran; husband James K. Corcoran. She is survived by her sons, Joseph Walrath, Michael K. (Michelle) Corcoran; daughter, Margaret (Phillip) Ransom; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jarett) Rhoads, Phillip II, Melissa, James, Jordan, Daniel Ransom, Scarlet & Henry Corcoran; great-granddaughter, Reann Rhoads; brother, Joseph Meyer; nephew Joseph Meyer; several cousins.
Bernice retired from the City of Rochester Police Dept., Records Division after 20 years of service.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 AM, Monday, at St. Mary's Church, 95 N. Main St., Canandaigua NY 14424. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
