Rochester: Passed peacefully Sunday April 2, 2017 at age 93. Predeceased by her husband, Daniel D. Pershing; son, Dennis Pershing; parents, Frank and Elizabeth Ritenour.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharyn (Michael) Johnson; grandchildren, Colleen (Michael) Woods, Erin (Scott) Vandeburg, Chelsea Johnson; great grandchildren, Brayden, Lily, Clara and Nora Vandeburg, Hadley and Tessa Woods. Betty was active as a pastor's wife at Park Ridge Free Methodist Church, Rochester, NY.
Special thanks to all the staff at Aaron Manor for the loving care they provided.
Family will receive friends at 10:00 AM on May 1, 2017 at the Saloom-Rega Funeral Home, 730 West Main Street, Mt. Pleasant, PA followed by the service at 10:30 AM.
Interment, Greenlick Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, PA
