Passed away peacefully Friday, March 4th, 2011. She is predeceased by her parents, Jose Ignacio and Alejandrina Valcarcel. She is survived by her daughters, Gloria E. Vallarino Hill (Robert Hill), Claudia (Nelson) Hozman; grandchildren, Jessica and Kimberly Hill, Shanna, Christian, and Jonathan Hozman; 6 siblings; niece, Martha (Edwin) Aponte and their daughters, Stephanie and Christina Aponte; and 24 other nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior calling hours. Blanca's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, March 12th at 9:30 AM at the Chapel of St. Ann's Home, 1500 Portland Ave. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Arthritis Foundation of Upstate NY or to the SPCA.
