Passed away on December 15th, 2019 at the age of 85.
Predeceased by his parents, Emilio and Hipolita Aponte.
He is survived by his long life partner, Porfidia Rentas, children, Anthony Aponte, Andy Aponte, Alvin Aponte, Aileen Rosselli, Alida (Luis) Marrero, Ada (Billy) Aponte-Perez, Rossie Annette Aponte, 16 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Julio Salomon (Angela) Aponte, Delia Aponte, Moises Aponte, Missael Aponte, Felipe Fipo Aponte, Zobeida Aponte, Lucy Aponte, Abraham Aponte and Maltita Aponte along with nieces, nephews and cousins and family dog Rufus.
Family will receive friends from 4PM - 8PM followed by a service at 8PM on December 19th 2019 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Boulevard. Internment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery on Friday December 20th, 2019, meeting at the Empire funeral home at 1PM.
