Bonnie Joy (Fackler) Stremich

Bonnie Joy (Fackler) Stremich, 75, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2026, surrounded by her children. She was born in Medina, NY on December 28, 1950, the daughter of late John and Pearl (Allis) Fackler.

Bonnie grew up on her parents’ farm in upstate New York, one of eight children. After graduating from Medina High School, she dedicated 46 years to working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Brockport and Spencerport. Following retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially watching her grandchildren grow, as well as going on outings with her siblings.

Bonnie is survived by her children Jason (Jennifer Rose) Stremich, Jennifer (Raymond) Ratajczak, and Scott Stremich, and her grandchildren, Henry, Cora, Charlie, Emma, and Jackson. She is also survived by her sisters Phyllis Misso and Judy (Jack) Maines, and her brothers Edward (Diane) Fackler and Roger (Marilyn) Fackler, as well as many nieces and nephews. Bonnie was predeceased by her siblings Marguerite Churchill, Mariea Draper, and James Fackler. She was also predeceased by her grandson Ethan Stremich.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Tuesday, October 20th, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, with service to follow, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626.
