Boyd Vest(USAF Retired)
Penfield: After a 2 year battle with ALS, Boyd passed peacefully, Friday, June 22, 2012 at age 76. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 55 years, Jeannine; daughters, Karen (Earl) Boesl, Lori (Mark) Hebert, Shannon (Jeff) Puckey; grandchildren, Rachel, Shannon, Leah, Carie, Jared, Heather; great-grandchildren, Lily, Alessia, Robbie, Landon, Rachel, Phoenix; sisters, Elnora, Vera, Mary; brother, Owen; and many nieces and nephews.
Boyd was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, who served his country during the Vietnam War, and retired after 20 years of service. He was also a retiree of Eastman Kodak Co., an avid hunter, and a member of the Senior Softball League.
The family will receive friends Monday, June 25th from 6-9 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday at 11 AM at
Grace Baptist Church, 3040 Walworth Rd., Marion, New York 14505.
