Bruce R. Winzenried

Bruce R. Winzenried, 72 years old, of Rochester, NY passed away on the morning of March 20th, 2026.

Predeceased by his parents, Robert Winzenried and Sylvia Winzenried.

Bruce was born September 4, 1953 in Toledo, OH. He is survived by a brother, Alan (Mary) Winzenried; and two sisters, Jill (Vito) Nuciolo and Gayle (Terry) Specht as well as nieces and nephews, an aunt and several cousins along with many close friends. Bruce was a graduate of Charlotte Jr/Sr High School in Rochester, NY.

Bruce worked for Eastman Kodak from 1972 until he retired in 2005, a total of 33 years. After retirement, he continued to work for an additional 11 years as a school bus driver for the Greece School District retiring for good in 2018. Bruce enjoyed flying as he had a private pilot’s license, riding roller coasters at amusement parks, and playing Bingo every Wednesday.

A celebration of life will be held April 17th, beginning 3:00 pm at New Comer Funeral home at 2636 Ridgeway Ave.
