She is survived by her husband, Roberto; her children, John R. (Kimberly), Melissa (Michael) Keefe, Yvonne and Vanessa (Gregory) Simmons.
Nine grandchildren, John David, Andrew, Ariel, Arena, Jannel, Jenna, Kenny, Roberto and Melissa Giselle.
Six great-grandchildren;Trinity, Airiana, Alessia, Ava, Amani and Nevaeh.
Four sisters Judy, Rita, Grace and Julia and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Salgado dedicated her life to the community and her family.
