Penfield, NY: February 14, 2015 at age 99. Born in Chili, NY, (Checkered).
Predeceased by parents John R. and Katherine B., brother Edward J. and 2 grandsons David and Donald Miller. Survived by his loving wife of 76 years, Lillian Stein Stork; daughters, Anne L. Miller and Karyl L. (Anthony) Borriello.
He will be sorely missed by 4 grandchildren, Dawn LeBlanc, Dana Miller, Karen Knapp and Brian Shaw, 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; a multitude of nieces, nephews and cousins including his very attentive health care aides.
A 1937 graduate of RIT, he enjoyed a 40 year career at Eastman Kodak Co. along with a life membership in AIEE. When not working, he participated in a vast array of hobbies including square dancing, gemology, golf, card playing and fishing at his summer home on Port Bay. Winters were spent in Sarasota, FL, during his retirement.
There will be a Memorial Service at St. John's Lutheran Church, 800 Ridge Road East, Rochester, NY 14621 on Tuesday, February 24th at 10 AM. Interment will be at the family's convenience.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
