Nielsen, Carl

Rochester: Went home to be with the Lord Saturday, July 13, 2013 at age 83. Predeceased by his father, Karl Nielsen; mother, Mary Anderson; brother, Woodrow Nielsen.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, M. Patricia (Irwin) Nielsen; son, Kirk (Melody) Nielsen; daughter, Robin (Terry) Cole; grandchildren, Emily and Hannah; sister-in-law, Dorothea Nielsen; nieces and nephew, Barbara Speciale, Janet Nielsen and Jeffrey Nielsen; special friends, Larry and Pat Berg.

Carl was a veteran of the Korean War.

Family will receive friends Sunday, July 21, 2013 1-3PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd., followed by a service at 3PM. Private family entombment, White Haven Memorial Park.
