Gates - Passed away at home with loving family by his side on May 2, 2018 at the age of 92.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Marion; children, Michael (Leslie) Scialdone & Annmarie LaRosa; grandchildren, Michele (Jeremy) Kelly, Lindsay (Daniel) Adams, Nicole (William) Schaeffler, & Jaqueline LaRosa; great-grandchildren, Emma & Joshua Kelly, Julie & Patrick Adams; very special niece, Sunday Urbanski; brother-in-law, Sam (Ginny) Interliccia; sister-in-law, Angie Golisano; several nieces & nephews.
Family will receive friends 4 - 7 PM Monday, May 7, 2018 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. His Mass will be held 9:30 AM Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at St. Theodore Church, 168 Spencerport Road. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Ave.
