Greece: Passed peacefully Saturday, March 12, 2011 at age 68 with her family at her side. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Ignazio "Sonny" Renna; cherished and loved by her son, Kevin (Laurie); grandchildren, Patrick (Christina), Erica and Ryan Renna; 4 great-grandchildren, Patrick Jr., Keira, Katie and Madison; loved by her brother, Allen and sisters, Karen, Mary and Betty; cherished and loved by her dear friend and second mother Doris Rhodes and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Carol will be deeply missed and will be in our hearts forever.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 17th from 4-7 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue where a Memorial Service will immediately follow calling hours at 7 PM. Private interment. Memorial contributions in Carol's name may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
