Predeceased by parents, Edwin and Mildred Markley and sister, Janet Sheahan.
Survived by her husband of 30 years, Ronald Gaul. 6 step children and step grandchildren all in CO..
Nieces, nephews, grand nieces and dear friends. Brother, Glenn (Liza) Markley. Sister, Edwina Markley.
Carol was an award winning artist. A fantastic cook, talented gardener and a wonderful wife, step mother to all. She will be sadly missed by so many.
Family and friends are invited to call 4-7pm Wednesday September 1, 2021 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (west of Long Pond Rd.) Funeral services will be held following visitation at 7 pm in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology in memory of Carol.
