Carolyn A. Leber

Carolyn passed away peacefully on her 86th birthday in Rochester, NY where she resided for the last 7 years to be near family as her health declined. Prior to moving to Rochester, Carolyn was a lifelong resident of Tonawanda where she had many memories and a love for her hometown.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Florence Leber; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Cecilia Leber, and nephew Michael Leber.

She is survived by her niece, Kim (Mark) Pumputis and their children Brianna (Ray Kelly), Shaina (Tim O'Shea) and Justin (Annie Pinkerton). Her nephew Michael's family, Arden, Joshua and Arianna and many other family, friends and neighbors.

Carolyn was active in many groups in Tonawanda over the years; the Historical Society, the senior center, and the Democratic Committee to name a few. She also enjoyed bowling, reading, playing pinochle, dominoes, and bocce as well as spending time with her friends and family. Carolyn's kindness and generosity will be missed by all who were touched by her presence in their life.

The family will gather on October 25, 2025 at 10:30AM at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 4000 Elmwood Avenue, Kenmore, NY 14217 in the office parking lot for Carolyn's Memorial Service.
