Losinger, Cecil L.
Greece: A longtime Greece resident passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2012, after a prolonged illness, at age 88. She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Neil) Laundry of Hamlin; grandsons, Douglas (Eva) and Scott (Nicole); four great-grandchildren, Jordan, Kaelin, Ethan and Emme; her sister, Rose (Bill) Roberts; nephew, Jim; niece, Terri; and great-niece, Miranda. Cecil was an active member of the Eastern Star for 56 years, and equally as active with Daughters of Mokanna for about 40 years. She was a creative person and an avid crafter for many decades for those two organizations. She loved to garden—her yard was like a park. She collected angels—and now she is one.
The family will receive friends Friday, August 24th from 5 - 7:30 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. At 10 AM on Saturday, August 25th, at Bethany Presbyterian Church, 3000 Dewey Avenue, Lilac Star Chapter will do an Eastern Star Service and there will be a floral tribute by the Daughters of Mokanna, followed by her Memorial Service. Those wishing to make a contribution in her memory may contribute, via Donna, to Lalla Rookh Caldron #68 D of M, to Lilac Star Chapter #57 O.E.S., or to Hospice of Rochester Lifetime Care (Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center).
