Wooden, Charles G.
Irondequoit/Fairport: Passed June 4, 2014 at age 76. He is survived by his loving wife, Deanna and children, Vicki (William) Strassner, Christopher (Amy) Wooden and Tammy (Robert) Plummer; grandchildren, William (Paige Durham), Stephanie, Zachary and Cassidy Strassner, Jacob (Emma Monte) and Amanda Wooden, Abigail Plummer, Brooke and Breona Sherman; siblings, Betty (Richard) Lynch, Marcia (Sam) Gallina and Sandy (Robert) Worth; in-laws, Nancy (Charles) Bellis and Norman (Ann) Christ; several nieces and nephews.
He was a longtime member and Past Chief of Sea Breeze Volunteer Fire Dept. and a member of American Legion Post #2014.
The family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff of Baird Nursing Home for their loving, compassionate care.
Friends may call 3-7 PM Thursday at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 AM Friday at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish at Christ the King Church, 445 Kings Highway South, 14617.
