Predeceased by his parents, Ralph & Mary Gates.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years wife, Rose Gates; son, Charles Gates Jr.; daughter, Dawn Francisco; grandchildren, Joseph Laboy, Isiah Francisco, Ariana Francisco & Kourtney Gates; brothers, Ralph Gates & Randy (Debbie) Gates; sisters, Debbie Daniels & Nancy Pattison; many nieces, nephews & cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
