Irondequoit: Loving husband, father and grandfather who touched many lives went to be with the Lord on Tuesday March 6, 2012 at age 83. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Lorraine and sister, Madeline Preston. Survived by his children, Martin (Dawn) Allmannsberger and Leslie (Michael) Trifiro; grandchildren, Philip (Stephanie), Megan, Corinne, Kaela, Rachel and Benjamin; step-grandchildren, Brandi and Amy Kaplun; great-grandchildren, Amelia and Lily; sister, Rosemary Nicosia; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to all of those who cared for Charles during his illness.
No prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his Memorial Mass, Friday March 9th at 10:30 AM at St. Cecilia's Church, 2732 Culver Road. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
