Charles "Chuck" Volkmar
Rochester: Went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at age 56. He is predeceased by his parents, Donald & E. Dorothy Volkmar and half-brothers, Ronald and James Volkmar Sr.; and half-sister, Jean Heinsler. Survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Sharon (Sites) Volkmar; beloved children, Mark (Sonja) Volkmar and Laurie (John) Cooklis; sisters, Donna (Paul) Davis and Joyce Zayas; and half-sister, Mary Ann Loiacano; cousin, Lee Crawford and nephew, Bill (Jenelle) Zayas.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 28th from 4:30-8:30 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. A Celebration of Chuck's life will be held at 7 PM on Thursday, April 29th at First Bible Baptist Church (F.B.B.C.), 990 Manitou Road, Hilton 14468. Private interment at White Haven Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to the F.B.B.C. Bus Ministry or to the G&T Sports Park.
