The family of Cheryl Chamberlain is deeply saddened to announce her passing on August 26, 2025, at the age of 76.
Born October 29, 1948, in Perivale, England, just outside of London, Cheryl was the eldest daughter of the late Ronald and Doral Hardy and a loving big sister to Toni and Jackie. At age ten, her family emigrated to Canada and soon after settled in the United States, where Cheryl built a life centered around love, family, and meaningful connection.
A proud graduate of Hilton High School, Class of 1967, Cheryl often reminisced about her days as a majorette in the marching band, sharing stories that sparkled with youthful joy and camaraderie. In 1970, she met and married the love of her life, David Chamberlain. Together, they shared 49 beautiful years of marriage until his passing in 2020.
Though she claimed not to have a green thumb, Cheryl adored flowers and gardens. She found peace and connection sitting with her sister Toni among the blooms, soaking in the beauty of nature and sisterhood. Her greatest joy, however, was her family—especially her beloved grandchildren: Nathan, Thomas, Michael, and her darlin’ Maggie. She cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories that will live on in their hearts.
Cheryl is predeceased by her husband David; her parents, Ronald and Doral Hardy; and her nephew, Shawn McKechney. She is survived by her sons, Christian (Julie) Chamberlain and Matthew (Margo) Chamberlain; her grandchildren, Nathan, Thomas, Michael, and Maggie; her sisters, Toni (Larry) Hardy and Jackie (Paul) Bray; her niece, Danielle (Robbie) Ryba; her step-mother, Elizabeth Hardy; and many extended family members in England.
Cheryl will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her pride in her children and grandchildren, and the way she showed up—fully and fiercely—for the people she cared about.
