Claude W. Saulsbury

With profound respect and gentle remembrance, we announce the passing of Claude W. Saulsbury, who departed this life on July 22, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on April 15, 1931, Claude graced this world for nearly a century, embodying the virtues of steadfastness, dignity, and grace.

He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Gwendolyn. His beloved children and grandchildren.

In celebration of Claude W. Saulsbury’s remarkable life, family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Wednesday, July 30, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester, NY 14626. A memorial service in his honor will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the same location, offering a time for reflection, commemoration, and shared gratitude for the many gifts of his life.

Claude’s journey on earth may have concluded, but the example he set endures, a legacy woven gently yet indelibly into the fabric of those who mourn his passing and cherish his memory. May he rest in everlasting peace, remembered for a life well-lived and a spirit quietly extraordinary.
